    org First Quarter 2011 During the first quarter of 2011, OCEAN had over 24,000 visits and almost 79,000 page views. The most popular pages on the site include the homepage (5,308 views), the code status page, (5,151), the residential code status map (3,382), the commercial code status map (2,663), and the resources page (1,305). Traffic to OCEAN came mostly from primarily from search engines (15,035, 62%), then referring sites (6,056, 25%), then direct traffic (3,242, 13%). The United States provides the vast majority of visits to OCEAN. In the observed time frame, there were 21,573 visits (88.66%). New York was the source of most U.S. visits (1,745), followed by Massachusetts (1,419), California (1,192), Texas (1,146), and Pennsylvania (1,085). The site received hits from 122 different countries and every major continent. Compared to the previous quarter, all primary statistics improved, with total visits and pageviews up by about 30%. Users are increasingly able to find the site via search engines, and OCEAN continues to receive more referrals from other sites, including Twitter and Facebook (over 100 referrals).
