Electrical Troubleshooting Tools

Fabricate a jumper wire (100 to 150 mm, 4 to 6 inches long) with Deutsch Terminals on both ends.
Use 7x- 1710 Multimeter Probe to measure ADEM III circuits voltage Use 8T-8726 Adapter Cable (3 Pin Breakout) for PWM sensors

Intermittent Electrical Problems

Deutsch HD Connector
1987 production, HD stands for heavy duty.

Color has been black, and varied grays

To mate, line up ribs, push together and turn lock ring until it clicks Extraction Tool is needed for removal of the Pins and Sockets

Deutsch DT Connector
1993 production...Some engines have both DT and HD

New Deutsch DT connector line (Black with Green wedges) had solved the problem with the seals coming loose. Pin and socket extraction tool not used Remove wedge and depress finger to extract each pin or socket
