Spicycles is one of the Intelligent Energy Europe projects which has worked for three years on sustainable
policies on cycling for cities around Europe. During this time besides the partner cities of Barcelona, Berlin,
Bucharest, Goteborg, Ploiesti, and Rome many other cities have participated and have received an award
which reflects their efforts and status on cycling in the framework of the local planning process.

At the end of this year we will conclude our project, and we would like to share our experiences and results with
you. This will happen in Bucharest on 18-19 December 2008, and if cycling is an ingredient of your profession or
your agenda, we are kindly inviting you to join us.

The Programme will include a technical tour on 18 of December, which will give you the opportunity to see the
bicycles facilities created in Bucharest during the project time, and a full Conference day on 19 of December
where we will share knowledge.
