ABC Lifestyle is a designer enterprise that deals exclusively with upper class segment in a metropolitan city. This segment represents emerging class that is trendy and relates itself of western lifestyle. The enterprise is known for class, quality, and uniqueness in all its dimensions. This is headed by Ms Huma, an entrepreneur, who holds a masters degree in fashion designing from a renowned American university. She has a passion for excellence and believes that customer focus is the key to the profitability and growth. Her outlet is based in Islamabad and she intends to expand it to other metropolitans especially the provincial capital. Her present workforce comprises over 30 personnel. The workforce job description is fairly flexible and expertise of employees in multiskills adds value to his business. The mushroom growth of designer and the greater interest of young professional entrepreneurs are flooding the market and offering choices. In addition, the celebrities have also ventured in this field and try to capitalize their star attraction for market share. The situation offer opportunities as well challenges for ABC Life Style. Ms Huma views that customer services at ABC Lifestyle must add value to her offering and be a distinct feature for differentiation. She is very keen to have a detailed look at the jobs of the workforce that he is heading. She wants to conduct a job analysis on how his employees interact with customers and other employees. Based on external and internal dimensions, carry out SWOT analysis of the case and discuss the following: a. Identify the basic purpose of the exercise that Ms Huma intends to undertake. b.
