This paper analyzes the impact of three telecenters in Bangladesh that provide agricultural services to rural communities. The telecenters aimed to enhance rural development and agriculture through information and communication technologies, but their success was not as high as initially expected. The paper assesses the telecenters' impact using a telecenter success model, finding issues like lack of infrastructure, awareness of services, and focus on solutions. As telecenter sustainability is important long-term, the paper also evaluates sustainability from different perspectives. The goal is to understand how successful these initiatives have been and inform policymakers on key considerations like infrastructure, awareness building, and sustainability.
