    Requirements:

    Must be at least 15 years old. Must be able to swim 300 yards continuously. Retrieve ten-pound object from the bottom of the pool and swim with it for 20 yards. Demonstrate each lifeguard skill satisfactorily. Attend all class times with proper materials. Participation in class does not guarantee successful completion of course.

    When:

    Jan. 3, 2008 9 a.m. 6 p.m. Jan. 4, 2008 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Jan. 5, 2008 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Jan. 6, 2008 1 p.m. 5p.m. Any day may be longer if needed to complete all skills. Garden City Family YMCA 1224 Center St. Garden City, KS 67846 $150 for first-time certification $50 for re-certification. If re-certifying, only last day is required. Please bring proof of most current certification.
