Kappa chapter of Lambda Pi Eta inducts new Nine new members were inducted into the Trevecca chapter (Zeta Kappa) of Lambda Pi Eta, the national honor society for communication majors. To be eligible for application for membership in this club, a student must major in communications, maintain a 3.25 grade point average in the coursework for the major, and maintain an overall 3.0 grade point average.

/ Zeta Kappa hosted a banquet for faculty and current members of the local chapter in honor of the new inductees. New members are Tiffany Anderson, Stacy Banks, Laura Barnes, Amanda Friedman, Lindsay Gunter, Hope Hinson, Liz McKelvey, Jonathan Moore, and Jamin Wentworth. Lambda Pi Eta are the Greek letters that represent the essential elements of persuasion that Aristotle used in his Rhetoric-message (logos), audience (pathos), and speaker (ethos). The organization was founded at the University of Arkansas in 1985. The organization joined the National Communication Association (NCA) in 1988 and became the official honor society of the NCA in July 1995. The society now has nearly 400 chapters at four-year colleges and universities worldwide.
