    Summary of the budgets from 1996 to 2012 of the Cold Spring Harbor Fire District, New York, with votes by fire commissioners. NOTE: This is the district information which is the municipality that assesses the taxes on the property owners. This is NOT the budget for the volunteer fire department. The District pays for all the training and all the vehicles, equipment and supplies needed by the Department. The fire district budget is not voted on by the residents -- it is entirely set by the Board of Fire Commissioners, which is why it is so critical as to who you elect as a commissioner -- do you want someone who represents the residents or someone who represents the firemen?
