Induction stove

Working analogous to waste heat produced in an electric transformer

How it works?
High frequency magnetic field produced by the coil. Field penetrates ferromagnetic material and sets up eddy current generating heat. Magnetic properties of a steel vessel concentrate the induced current in a thin layer near the surface, which makes the heating effect stronger Nothing outside the vessel is affected. As soon as the vessel is removed heat generation stops. Materials like aluminum and copper cannot be used as the magnetic field penetrates too far and does not encounter any resistance.
