GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS.

Punctual attendance is recommended. Is necessary wearing a long lab coat, long sleeves and heavy fabric, as well as safety glasses, while you are in the laboratory. Rubber footwear must be worn fully closed, hair ponytail.

Is recommended not to use contact lenses or accessories such as rings, watches, bracelets and chains while performing laboratory experiments. Work close from the table, so you can watch the procedure. The reagent bottles should be placed on the site ready for them immediately after use. Do only what is authorized by the technician. Corrosive reagents such as strong acids and alkalis must be handled with caution,

especially when concentrated or hot. If spilled on the body its recommnended washed immediately. Read the label carefully before using the reagents, to be sure it is right. When a substance is heated in a test tube, the open end thereof should not be directed at anyone nearby. Wash hands before leaving the laboratory. Use fume cupboard for all operations in which toxic substances are handled or volatile. Know the place where the first aid cabinet are located and where the showers.
