How is a Manic Episode?

A manic episode is a period of 7 or more days when the persons mood is drastically changing. Often this manic episode is explained like an inverted depression, because the person passes through different states like: elevated mood, euphoria, restless activity and many other things that mean all the opposite of a depression. The most important thing of this is the person who is suffering a manic episode could be involved in many issues that may have serious consequences for people around him, (family, friends etc.) while this happens, so its important to be really careful if were related to someone that could suffers from something like this. For example, the person could spend lots of money in different kinds of things that maybe hes never going to need or use. And when all of this is end hes going to be really indebted without knowing why because of the episode. But its very difficult for a person to make him change his mind on an episode, so in most of the cases the person will be uncontrollable, and he or she would do whatever he wants. The problem is when this episode ends the person will be very affected by all he did, and the feelings of shyness and guilty will appear then. A manic episode could be really different to another one; this is because it depends on the person who is affected by that emotional disorder, his mood, his way of life and many other factors that influences on how is the he taking it, even in the same person could be different kind of this episodes, depending on when or where is this happening. There is another really important thing to know about this, and its that the person whos suffering from the episode doesnt even know what is going on, and even he feels perfectly OK, so this makes the treatment to still being more difficult.
