The SUPREME COMMODITY the RUBBER CROP in DHARMASRAYA

The West Sumatra province had the quite wide agricultural land. The land
that still was empty and was not yet exploited well still quite wide. Most available
lands were used as the agricultural land and the plantation. For example: oil palm,
rubber, cocoa, and still many other plantation crops. . Results of this plantation
produced foreign exchange for West Sumatra that was used for the development
of the area. almost in each available regency in the West Sumatra Province the
rubber crop was the source of the production of the area. In the Dharmasraya
Regency my place was kept having the biggest rubber plantation in West Sumatra.
Rubber was the production for the community in the Dharmasraya Regency.
Rubber that has harvest will be soaked in water for approximately 3 days. For
Dharmasraya facilities of the Regency factory stood one processing factory of
rubber, but this processing only became the raw material for the production of the
other thing that was made from rubber. Results of the processing of this factory
will be sold in factory that more needed to be processed into the other thing.

Rubber was one of the important plantation commodities, good as the

source of the income, the work opportunity and foreign exchange, The promoter
of the growth of new economics of centres in the territory around the rubber
plantation and conservation of the environment and biological resources. Rubber
was good enough dikembangankan in the area of the dry land had a wet climate.
The rubber crop had several superiority compared with the other commodity, that
is: (1) could grow in various conditions and the land kind, as well as still well-off
harvest results despite to the unfertile land, (2) could form the forest ecology, that
generally is received to the area of the dry land had a wet climate, so as rubber
was good enough to deal with the critical land, (3) could give the income of the
daily for the farmer who tried to get him, and (4) had the quite good price
prospect, because the requirement for world rubber increasingly increased after
China opened the new market for Indonesian rubber.
