Ice Cream Party!!!
We won the ice cream
party for having the
highest number of
people from the class at
Chick-fil-a night.
Thanks for your help in
making that happen!
Spelling Test
The words for this week’s test will be
from the “-ump” word family (jump,
hump). We will also have words that
begin or end with “ch” (chip, inch).
Report Cards
Report cards go home today. Please sit
down and talk to your child about the
report card. You can discuss areas in
which they are doing well and areas in
which they need to improve.
Classroom Happenings
Reading- This week we
are reading Caps for Sale.
We are learning how to
retell a story.
Math-We are learning how to make
combinations of numbers. We are also
using the hundreds chart to find
patterns and missing numbers.
Science-We are studying about space.
Social Studies-In a few weeks we will
begin a unit on the election.
