No. TP/ERS/CAS dated 19-11-2011 Sir, Sub:-Repairing/Reinsulating of HT Squirrel cage induction Motor. No. 0476-2680101. 1 Scope of work Scope of work involves dismantling the motor, stripping out all stator coils, cleaning, checking hot spot in the stator core, insulating stator slots with class F insulation materials, reinsulating the stator coils with class F insulation materials, replacing of damaged stator coils with new ones, if required, providing RTDs,2 nos in each phase winding, Rewinding, end connections, varnishing with Dr. Beck insulating and finishing varnishes, balancing the rotor, assembling and testing of motor, repainting the motor with one coat of primer and two coats of DA gray paint and to & fro transportation . Any additional work other than specified in the enquiry for the trouble free operation of the motor shall be carried out at mutually agreed terms. Bearings shall be replaced with new one supplied by KMML. Low voltage test run shall be carried at your works in the presence of our representative. 2 Completion Time The work shall be completed with in four weeks from the date of acceptance of work order/receipt of motor at your works whichever is later. After removing the coil from the stator, you have to inform us to depute our engineer to inspect the stator core, rotor and winding coil. Contract Price The rate shall be inclusive all taxes and duties. The service tax will be paid extra as applicable. The rate shall be arrived after considering the scrap value of copper, if removed and shown separately as follows. a) Rates for complete reinsulation of the stator coil, rewinding with class F insulation materials, assembling, testing and painting, providing RTDs etc as per scope of work. b) Rates for replacing one stator coil, if required. c) Balancing the rotor d) Rate for to and fro transportation. Payment Terms 90 % shall be released against your invoice after testing and acceptance of the motor at your site in presence of our engineer. Balance 10% shall be released after guarantee period. Guarantee period The work carried out by you shall be guaranteed for a period of 18 months from the date of receipt of motor at KMML or 12 months from the date of putting in to service whichever is earlier. Testing and Inspection

All necessary tests shall be carried out in the motor and test values shall be sent to us for reference and records. You have to inform KMML in advance for deputing our Engineer to witness the testing and final Inspection of the motor. Thanking you Yours faithfully Asst. General Manager (E)
