TARTRATE STABILIZATION OF WINE BY MEMBRANE TECHNOLOGY

Electrodialysis: Patent INRA/EURODIA

Reliable treatment, tailored to each wine, accepted and used worldwide

A reliable technology, approved by the OIV, well-suited to all types of wines

Tartrate stabilization of wine by membrane technology was developed jointly by INRA and EURODIA INDUSTRIE. This technology has been endorsed by the International Wine Board (OIV) as a good oenological practice and was approved by the European Union for the treatment of all wines, including AOC wines.

Analyses by INRA, Pech Rouge for a red AOC Corbires wine

Prior to the treatment, a specific test is automatically perfomed by our Stabilab analyzer in order to give a fast and simple evaluation of the tartrate, potassium, and calcium removal rates required to achieve an absolute stability. For each wine, this test determines the appropriate and specific treatment rate.
