EXECUTIVE ORDER NO, 01-2001

AN EXECUTIVE ORDER APPROVING THE GENDER-RESPONSTVE MEDTUM TERM PLAN OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ROSARIO, BATANGAS: 2000-2005 AND CALLING FOR ITS ADOPTION AND INTEGRATION IN ALL ASPECTS OF THE MUNICIPAL PLANS AND PROGRAMS.
WHEREAS, the enactment of Republic Act No. 7192 otherwise known as the "Women in Development and Nation-Building Act" on February 12, 1992 and the approval and adoption of Philippine Plan for Gender-Responsive Development, 19952025 throttgh Executive Order No. 273, series of 1995, both call for a plan that shall address and provide direction for mainstreaming gender concerns at the municipal level; WHEREAS, the Municipal Government of Rosario, Batangas, in recognition of the role of women in nation building has, through its Office for Sustainable Development, took the initiative of formulating a plan for the purpose of addressing and providing direction for gender concerns at its own level;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, RODOLFO GUERRA VILLAR, Municipal Mayor of Rosario, Batangas, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby approve and adopt the "Gender-Responsive Medium Term Plan Of Rosario, Batangas: 2000 2005," hereinafter referred to as the Plan, and order that:
