Approval of proposed commercial name Approval by other authorities (in this casewe presume this is not required since the company will be engaged in trading activities or other activities which does not require industrial licence and envirnmantel approvals etc.) Completion of standard form Copies of the identity documents of the partners Completion and signing of the Articles of Association form as per the investor form or submission of new Articles of Association and signing of the same as desired by the partners Submission of the Articles and Memorandum of Association duly attested, if the foreign partner is a juristic person; such as a company registered overseas and the documents confirming its registration overseas (copy of the commercial registration) Submission of minutes of the partners meeting duly attested if the Omani or foreign partner is a juristic person. The minutes should also show the share of the said person and the authorized signatory of the person authorized to sign the Articles of Association of the company to be registered in Oman Submission of a bank certificate showing the deposit of RO 150,000/- showing the share of each partner.(RO 1,50,000 is the minimum capital required for companies with foreign partners coming under the foreign investment law in oman) Submission of the documents along with the identities of the partners and authorized signatories. Payment of the prescribed fees.
