We are moving from St Andrews Sq but our campaign against inequality, exploitation and corporate greed continues. We have been in talks with the businesses who own the Square, but they have abandoned negotiations. This means an extremely expensive eviction process has begun at great cost to the public purse. The businesses responsible for this are large corporate entities such as RBS who have already cost us, the 99%, too much money. To avoid this disgusting waste of public money, Occupy Edinburgh are moving the camp and vacating the Square. Eviction changes nothing. We will still be fighting for a fairer society where human rights are more important than profits and corporations cannot control democratic governments.
