Balcony Screw Fitting Guide

The Ecodek balcony screw is designed to allow the installer to secure composite decking to a 1.5mm 5.0mm thick steel substrate. Balcony screws are available in brown, grey & black and are 38mm in length. Also available are 3.3mm HSS drill bits to suit the screws and an adjustable drill/countersink combination tool.

Ecodek balcony screws are available in boxes of 200 all are supplied with free driver bit. 7.00 + VAT per box

Step 1: Remove the drill bit that comes with the combi tool and fit one of the 3.30mm HSS bits Step 2: Adjust the combi tool countersink depth (if necessary) so that 4-5mm is exposed past the free spinning auto-stop collar. Step 3: Drill the Ecodek board and steel sub structure in one operation (see Quick Installation Guide for details on screw hole location). Step 4: Screw down the Ecodek using the supplied driver bit. Take care not to damage the rust proof coating on the screw heads as you drive them in. .
