Beginning strategies hand out.....each strategy becomes the basis of your sketchbook assignments--------10 minutes (I will be looking at your doodle value shading) The sketchbook assignments will be integrated into or become the preparatory work for your altered book-- they should be completed outside of class

Prepared paper (for collage) and (to experiment with media) and to use in your timeline and your altered book 10 minutes then let dry

wet on wet watercolor w/ stencils

oil pastels resist

wet on wet watercolor seran wrap, salt, bubble wrap

Work on timeline--if you havent done so--plan out the length of your segments-which ones are most important to you-they should be more prominent --70 minutes 4. Clean up/ leave out timelines for gallery walk 5 minutes
