TOOLS:solderinggun,solderingsucker,solderlead,(+)headscrewdriverandpickingtools. 1.ThistimeweproceedtothehigerlevelLEDmodification,thisinvolvingtheSMD(surfacemounteddevice)typeLED,normallythisneedthespecialsolderingguntodosolderingfor SMDbutduetoDIYweuseonlythenormaltypesonderinggun. 2.Toremovetheaircondconsole,weneedtobackshiftthearmrest(gearshiftandhandbreak)consle,appologiseIdon'thaveanypictureforthis.Therearetotal5screw.2infront thegearknobsmalltray,itcanbefoundafterliftuptheantisliprubbermat.1screwinsidethearmrestbox.last2screwatthebottombackofthearmrest,canbereachatbackseat. Afterremoveallscrew,putthegearknobtoNeutral,andpushbackthewholearmrest. 3.Forautotransmissionownerwhichwouldliketochangethegearindicationilluminatebulbwecanchangeitbyliftupthearmrestconsoleanditisjustlocateunderthegear 'L'position,itwastheT10typebulb,twistthebrackettotakeoutandinsertthenewT10bulb.TurnontheheadlamptocheckbeforefititbackifbulbnotONjustreversthebulb. 4.Unscrewthe2aircondconsolecoverasperpicturecircleinred,pulloutthecoverasperpictureindicateredarrow,thisneedsomeforcetopulloutbecauseithas4numbersof metalcliptoholdit.

    5.Unplugtheconnectionwire,andunscrewthecontrolunitfromthecover.

    6.Usepickingtolltoslotintheroundknobeventlyallrounduntilthecontrolknobextendout.

    7.Applyfocetopulltheknobupuntilltheroundknobrelasefronthecontrolunit.

    8.IdentifytheLEDasperpictureredcircle.[ATTN:beforedesolderingpleaserememberthepolarityoftheLED]

    9.DuetotheSMDLEDweneedcarefullydesolderingandsolderbacktheLEDwithoutburntheLED.

    10.AssemblybackthecontrolconsoleandtesttheLEDbyhookuptheconnectorandturnontheheadlamp.

    11.Assemblybacktheaircondcoverandarmrestunit.
