SOME
Se usa some para frases afirmativas. Se usa con contables e incontables. Con los contables, el verbo est en plural; mientras que con los incontables, debemos ponerlo en singular. Ejemplo: There is some water in the bottle. There are some bottles of water in the fridge. Tambin usamos some en preguntas para ofrecer algo de forma educada.

Ejemplo:
Would you like some coffee? Would you like a biscuit?

ANY
Se usa any para preguntas y frases negativas. Se usa con contables e incontables. Con los contables, el verbo est en plural; mientras que con los incontables, debemos ponerlo en singular.

Ejemplo:
There isn't any water in the bottle. There aren't any bottles of water in the fridge Are there any bottles of water in the fridge? En algunos casos debemos usar any en oraciones afirmativas: Despus de never, without, hardly. En oraciones condicionales solemos usar any.
