... HV3 connector system When using sockets with an HV3 connector system, these can be plugged to any domestic socket outlet simply by connecting them with a power supply lead. Some sockets can be connected by an extension lead with HV3 plug. The HV3 connector system is compatible with the Wieland GST 18/3 plug connector system.
... wire end ferrules When using a socket supplied without a pre-installed plug (state delivered: stripped power cable with wire end ferrules), a qualified electrician must connect it to the building's electrical system or fit a mains power plug.
