    Alternate Prayer Room Specifications

    Orientation
    The room should be oriented such that the front wall is facing 53.75 N.

    Doors
    The entrance/exit door should be placed at the back of the room so that if the room is full at the front, it will be easy for people to enter from the back.

    Carpet
    The carpet should be laid down in alternate color strips, perpendicular to the direction mentioned above. The carpet strips should be 3.5 feet in width.

    Shelves
    Any shelves for placing shoes should be outside of the room in order to maximize space and cleanliness inside the room.

    Dimensions
    The room should be at least the same dimensions as the current alternate prayer room. N
