Gate Security System using Barcode Reader The Project Gate Security System deals with the automation

of intime and out-time management of visitors, students, staff and other workers. This project is developed with the objective of making the system reliable, easier, fast, and more informative. There is a lot of reason for the introduction of this project. In the manual System, there are number of inefficiencies that a security has to face and also it requires paper work. This project includes scanning of id-cards which is used to retrieve the information stored in the database and show it to the security for verification. If the person is new visitor, the security has to capture the image of the new visitors and store the information and generate the temporary id-card for the new visitor for security reason. Whenever the student, staff, or any other person enter into the campus their in-time will be automatically stored with photo as same time when they come out of the campus their out-time will automatically stored in the centralized database. So, it is very useful to find out who are all entered and come out from the campus on particular time and also the date and time based report can be displayed for any future verification.
