    RTM2 WARTA MANDARIN is a Malaysian news channel owned by the Ministry of Information Malaysia. It launched in 1969 and was rebranded in 2004 as "Your Family Channel". Recently, it conducted a rebranding of its news presentation that introduced new faces and a new concept/design. The channel saw boosted audience ratings from these changes. It is working to improve its news introductions by adding motion graphics and including past year's major news stories in a yearly timeline format with changing year digits and graphics. The channel is using software like Photoshop and Flash to create and refine its identity, but faces challenges from still learning to fully utilize the capabilities of these tools.

     They conducted a re-branding for the
    news channel & audience rating
    boosted.
     Introduced 3 new faces to attract
    more audience.
     New concept, presentation skills, and
    backdrop has been put to use.

     To make the news introduction more
    attractive than the original by adding
    some motion graphic.
     Previous years' big news will be
    included in the intro. It will be showed
    year by year and the digits that show’s
    the year will change accordingly
    including the graphic and frames.
     We are also using some shiny elements
    to contrast with the dark background in
    the end of the intro part.
