He did a voluntary exile so he would not somehow humiliated by his family. 4. prowl to roam through stealthily, as in search of prey or plunder The street dogs prowled the alleys of the dark streets. The stranger prowls the neighborhood that made everyone too suspicious. 5. fortitude strength of mind that enables a person to encounter danger or bear pain with courage People, affected by the typhoon, were able to face the shortcomings with fortitude. It is with great fortitude that a family may able to withstand all the ups and downs that life brings.
