ABOUT JODHPUR:
Set at the edge of the Thar Desert, the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes with tales of antiquity in the emptiness of the desert. Once the capital of the Marwar state, it was founded in 1459 A.D. by Rao Jodha. The massive 15th century A.D. Mehrangarh Fort looms on the top of a rocky hill, soaring 125 Mts. Above the plains. The city is encompassed by a high wall -10 km long with 8 gates and innumerable bastions. A major trade centre of the 16th century A.D. the fortress-city of Jodhpur is now the second largest city of Rajasthan. Mehrangarh Fort was founded in 15th century by the Rathore Rajputs when they shifted their capital from nearby Mandore to Jodhpur. The Jaswant Thada, located half way up the interminably long road that climbs onwards to the fort, is the traditional cremation ground of the rulers of Jodhpur. Mandore, 9 km to the north of Jodhpur, was the capital of Marwar before the foundation of Jodhpur. It was founded in the 6th century, and passed to the Rathore Rajputs in 1381 after a marriage alliance between a princess of the original founders, the Pratiharas, and the Rathode Raja, Rao Chandor. An Osian in the desert, situated on the diversion off the main Jodhpur - Bikaner Highway. A drive to this ancient township takes one past undulating terrain, punctuated by desert stretches and little hamlets. Osian has 15 beautifully sculpted Jain and Brahmanical temples.

OVERVIEW
Networking of computers has opened a new dimension in computing and communication industry. Through resource sharing it has improved the computing power available to common man. Aim of this conference is to cover various subareas of computer communication networks with an intension to explore emerging and research trends. The conference will be useful to Faculty, Scientists, Professionals, Research Scholars and Post-Graduate Students. Computer Networking has penetrated day to day life deeply. Every utility is based on Computing and Communication technology. Dream of Ubiquitous Computing is to be fulfilled through sharing computing resources such as distributed computing, grid computing. Cloud computing is gaining importance and ready to change trends of computing. In last few years, wireless network technologies have experienced several innovations and their applications have affected life of common person. This will continue to represent a rapidly growing sector in near future. The changeover to 3G and 4G technologies will allow further speeds up. With the increase in bandwidth and processing capability, more complex applications such as high definition video streaming and communication are expected from the technology. The researchers are supposed to provide solution with copy-protection and secure payment solutions for such applications. Due to increase of applicability and popularity, the issue of security is becoming important. The implementation of security mechanisms is to be application and technology specific. Generalized solution like firewalls and password are not sufficient in this era.
