This shot establishes the location and shows us that the action is being set under water. The shot is also creating suspense because the audience cannot see much and has to suspect what is happening. The colour black already shows us that it is a thriller.

Spotlight shot

This shot tries to search something unknown, pointing with a light bulb to recreate a spotlight. Both pictures include the colours black and brown, which symbolise evil and mysterious.

These close-ups subscribe the action that is happening more accurate. It emphasises, that something really important is happening and it focuses on the action.

In this shot you can especially see the props and the costumes. These two images actually look quiet similar to each other, since both handle with technically devices and one of the characters is in the foreground and one in the background.

Research in the Internet

All of these films are underwater movies. I have looked them up at Box Office Mojo. Because it is about the same theme, the shots look most similar to our thriller.
