Dear Governor Brewer, Todays challenging world of raising up teenagers has reached unpresidential hardships and painful tragedies. The culture has morphed from the 60s generation of drugs, free-love and anti-war protests, the distrust of government and the lack of respect for authority. Todays youth face undaunting temptations from peer pressure to practice free sex and to use a myriad of illegal drugs, leading to a life of crime and despair. My family has fallen victim to this painful reality. My daughter through bad choices is a statistic of this harsh truth of todays teens. Through internet research and much prayer my wife and I found the site hope4Teens. This program lined up with my core Christian values of treating the heart, not the symptoms. This program has been literally a life saver for my daughter and our family. The thought of this program not being available in times like these in our nation is unbearable for me. The model being used here of love and encouragement has totally transformed my daughter. I am excited to see my daughter become all that she can be. This became possible by this program and its staff. In an interview with one of Israels prime ministers, they asked him what Israels greatest resource is. He said unquestionably, our youth. I write this letter to say that this program is unquestionably one of our greatest resources for todays troubled teens who are our greatest resource. Sincerely, Vice President, MAZ Inc.
