The story contest of the Kits Me- Love the hood youre in! campaign is created for the purpose of increasing the awareness of Kitsilano Neighbourhood House, Kitsilano Business Improvement Association, Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce and West Broadway Business Improvement Association. All stories and pictures will become the property of the organizations listed above in perpetuity for marketing purposes. Only one story/application per person and it must be completed in full. Participants under the age of 18 need to have a parent/guardian sign off on their story/application form. Multiple entries may result in disqualification. The story must be appropriate to share with all members of the community. Any story deemed to have inappropriate content will not be chosen. No personal information will be shared with any 3rd party or business outside of the organizations listed above. We cannot guarantee that the story you submit will be published. A judging panel will vote on the 90 stories to be used for the Kits Me-Love the hood youre in! banners and window paintings. There will only be minor editing for clarification. Any published changes to the story will be with the permission of the author. The 90 winners will be contacted by telephone/email. The winners will be required to have his/her photo taken for the purpose of advertising on Saturday April 18th and/or Sunday April 29th, 2012. No exceptions. If the winners are not available or cannot be contacted or are incapable of accepting the conditions, then the officials of the promotion may re-draw or revoke at their own discretion. Kitsilano Neighbourhood House, Kitsilano Business Improvement Association, Kitsilano Chamber of Commerce and West Broadway Business Improvement Association reserve the right to amend the above rules and regulations as they see fit.
