LANGUAGE ARTS: -I have learned new vocabulary and can use it in my writing and speaking. -I understand that a good reader makes inferences and sequences. -I can research a famous person. WRITING: -I can creatively write a story about the day in the life of my pencil. -I understand point of view. -I can write a thoughtful literary response using details from the story. SPELLING: -I can spell my words correctly in writing. 3RD GRADE MATH -I can learn my multiplication facts. -I understand extended facts. (ex. 9 x 500) -I can estimate costs. 4TH GRADE MATH -I can use a protractor. -I can measure obtuse, acute and reflex angles. -I can use different algorithms to solve long division problems. SCIENCE: -I will research Pluto. -I will debate whether Pluto should be or should not be a planet using facts from my research -I can debate my thoughts and opinions respectfully. SOCIAL STUDIES: -Whats News?? Learn world, national, and local news. -I understand communities in history. -I can compare explorers of history. -I can read a timeline. -I travel to and learn about Canada.
