Problem 1

Due to some maintenance activities on a highway, the traffic is done on a single lane for both travel senses. A red-green light system has to be installed at the each end of the common lane. The light system functions according to: when the system is powered-up, red light is active of the both ends; if one of the proximity sensors I1 or I2 detects that a car is present, the red light from the respective end goes inactive after 5s while the green light becomes active; the red light from the other end remains ON; the green light stays ON for 30s; if after this time interval, none of the proximity sensors is ON, there will be no change is the lights status(green light from the respective end remains active) if the proximity sensor from the other end is activated, than the lamps from both ends will be ON for 5s; afterwards, the lamp from the side where the proximity sensor was activated goes ON(of course, the corresponding red lamp is OFF); this status is kept until the proximity sensor from the other end is activated;
