In our first experiment, we tested pomelo juice as a stain remover.

It didnt work well with our cloth samples, so we decided to use other citrus fruits instead. We used lemon, calamansi, water, and vinegar combined as our stain remover in the second experiment. We were to compare the stain removing capabilities of the natural stain remover, and the chemical bleach. We had 6 cloth samples; 3 for the natural stain remover and 3 for the bleach. The stains we used were lipstick stain, melted chocolate stain and soy sauce stain. We put 5 ml of bleach on the 3 cloths, and the same with the other 3, except for the fact that we used our natural stain remover. We compared the results of the natural stain remover and the results of the chemical bleach. We observed that the bleach was much more effective than the citrus solution we created. We believe that was because the fruits we chose didnt have as much stain-removing qualities the chemical bleach possessed.
