Work analysis

The Check in system includes 2 main functionsTo accept luggage Issue boarding pass Which takes around 10 minutes at present. The company wants to minimize it to around 23 minutes.

The company will use following state-ofthe art technologies to upgrade the check in systemNew baggage registration system: 1. To reduce time the airline company will have separate kiosks outside the airport and in some prime locations. 2. Passengers have to print the tags in the printers at kiosk 3. The luggages have to be scanned in automatic scanner.

4. After scanning the luggages will be sent to the aircraft by conveyor belt. 5. The luggage ID will be generated online and will be stored in database . 6. Airline executives will be there to help the passengers at the kiosks.

ONLINE CHECK-IN
Passengers will be able to select their seat and receive boarding pass at the booking stage. However if a passenger need to continue the check in process at the Airport, a special lane is provided to them to reduce wait time.

MOBILE CHECK-IN
Using a GPRS or 3G enabled Smartphone a passenger can be able to check-in ,by downloading a dedicated application using mobile browser. At the end of mobile check in , the airline will send a boarding pass to mobile device which can be scanned during security check.

ONE STOP check-in


The company will install Full Auto check-in system in remote location of India including airports in N-E India.
Once the required information is inserted in the devices screen ,bags can be deposited to check their size and weight.
