Employment Background Screening Process

What is it? Employee background screening is an integral part of the process of hiring by the company. This is essential as on most occasions, employees may have access to highly sensitive and confidential company and client data. For security reasons, certain clients seek verification of the background of the employees. What is the purpose of this policy? The purpose of this policy is to make known the Company's practice of verifying an applicant's employment/education qualifications and references. Who does it apply to?
All employees are covered for the purpose of this policy, and the Company will perform background screening either before or after an employee joins.

What is verified? A background screening may include following checks: Identity check Highest education certificate check Employment history (at least previous two employers/as applicable) Regulatory database check Criminal check Reference check

Required documents The list of documents that is mandatory to be submitted by you and is collected from all candidates, for the purpose of initiating the BC:

Copy of Final Degree/Diploma Certificate or Final Year mark sheet or (Provisional Degree Certificate and all years mark sheets), for highest qualification attained. (In case the highest qualification attained is standard XII or X, then mark sheet for the same) Proof of employee code for all previous employments in scope or if the employer did not provide an employee code, then organization name, complete postal address with branch details, department details, contact numbers and supervisor details Completely filled and signed Employee Application Form Any additional documents that may be required by your HR representative or the background check POC to complete the verification process.
