USING THE SECOND METHOD FOR DETERMINING LYAPUNOV STABILITY OF PREY-PREDATOR LOTKA-VOLTERRA 3-SPECIES (By : Yuana Sukmawaty; Lecturer : Faisal & Yuni Yulida; 2010; 46 page) In the Mathematics, the interaction of a minimum of two species in an ecosystem can be modeled using certain variables. One model is a model of interaction between prey and predator interaction. This model can be formed into various cases, one of which prey-predator system Lotka-Volterra 3-species with the case of two-prey one-predator follows. dx1 = x1 (a1 b1 y ) dt dx2 = x2 (a2 b2 y ) dt dy = y (c + d1 x1 + d 2 x2 ) dt c a1 c d1 x1 a1 c a2 , ). with equilibrium point at ( 0, 0, 0 ), ( 0, , ), ( , 0, ) dan ( x1 , d1 b1 d 2 b2 d2 b1 System stability is analyzed using Lyapunov second method to determine a function which measures qualified in the Lyapunov theorem. Lyapunov function is b x 21 used V ( x1 , x 2 , y ) = b2 which is asymptotically stable solution in equilibrium point x1 c a1 ( , 0, ).By using these functions can also be obtained when the extinction of one d1 b1 of its prey during the second survival of different prey. Then there was given a numerical simulation using Maple programs by providing a specific value of the constant-constants.
