Health-Related Fitness (HRF) Component & Activities that Support Learning of HRF: Muscle Endurance: The variety of games in this lesson will require the students to make many repeat movements. When on a scooter the legs are going to have to make many repeated movements to travel from one area to the next. The students will also have to acquire throwing a ball from the sitting position. (2 minutes): Warm-up Description and Management: The class usually comes in and runs for 2 minutes. I am going to keep that agenda and have the students run around the gym to get their blood flowing (4 minute) Set Induction: Since this is my first time teaching in the school I will introduce myself to the students. After I introduce myself I will ask the students of their prior knowledge of the scooter games. I will then explain the activities for the class to the students. I will then stress the importance of safety. To ensure safety I will explain my expectations of the students. (2 minutes) Activity 1: Scootering Description and Management: In an open space the students will scooter to the opposite end of the gym and back. Task Development: Students will demonstrate that they are able to use the scooter properly and without problems.

Each team will have their own side of the gym. Each team will defend their own targets Task Development: Students will have their own fourth of the court. Each team will play a new opponent. This way teams can get a new competition. Students will dribble, shoot, and pass the ball while still on a scooter. Students will have to stay on their scooters or the other team will get the ball. There are three ways to score. The team can get one point by

throwing the ball and knocking over a bowling pin. The team can score two points if they pass the ball to a teammate past the cones. The team can score three points if they successfully throw the ball through a hula-hoop that is hanging from the basketball rim.
