Metric: 1: Work done, and happy with work produced 2: Some work done, not enough detail / attention 3: Little work done, needing immediate attention Create external communication strategy & communications plan Work with Platform People to identify target publications (trade, HR, consumer, national, local) and target industry bodies / influencers Define spokesperson team and duties; arrange external media training if necessary (this latter at additional cost but may not be needed) Create strategy document and rolling plan including known relevant forward features, events, supplements and other opportunities

Consultancy on messaging and release creation Work with Platform People to refine elevator pitch & ensure consistency across marketing collateral suite Create template for press release & press briefing Train Platform People on press release writing

Handle initial external communications launch of Platform People Create press/media pack for Platform People including website Plan launch event if required Arrange press days with agreed journalists and influencers Monitor and report press coverage & advise on follow-up

Deliver external communications strategy for first 3 months Advise on topics for releases / briefings and write drafts Continue momentum with target journalists post-launch Advise on placed articles & draft if required

Additional services Act as external critical friend for marketing material created in-house Monitor industry for unplanned opportunities Act as advocate for Platform People in social media and elsewhere

Main Focuses Moving Forward: Consultancy on messaging and release creation, including copy for all handout materials, the Platform People website(s) and any digital / physical content. A proactive PR strategy based on news items thatre revelant and timely to Platform People and their clients. Must also include clearly defined measurable(s) to track ROI.
