Workshop Purpose

A 3 Day workshop on Cyber Security and its Effects on Corporate businesses, and Government Institutions that aims at providing awareness, understanding, and experience in dealing with Cyber Attacks which seems potential targeting our companies, and government bodies that are now technologically interconnected. The objectives of the workshop are to: Acquiring general awareness and understanding about cyber security; Acquiring some hands-on experience on how to effectively carry out corporate cyber security; Acquiring knowledge on the Internet policies and cyber security; Provide delegates with key Security skills to enhance their daily controls, monitoring and prevention. The workshop will be facilitated through a blended approach comprising of lectures, group work and presentations. Delegates will be assessed on the content and a certificate will be issued after the successful completion of the workshop. The workshop will be delivered by experienced Senior Researchers and Security Experts. The workshop will be very useful to computer security personnel and technical support personnel, system administrators, network programmers, database administrators, network administrators, network engineers, IT managers, IT Auditors and all IT stakeholders from private and public sectors. Military and police personnel are highly encouraged to attend this workshop. Tshs. 650,000/= to cover workshop material, health breaks and excludes travel, accommodation and any incidental costs.
