QUESTION: Why are the DIP switches configuration changes not accepted? ANSWER: All configuration changes of DIP or turnswitches will be read at S7-200 extension modules respectively on the RS232/PPI Multi-Master cable after power return. This means that, if the settings of the switches were changed, the power supply has to be switched off and on again before the new settings will be accepted.
