Youre A Good Man, Charlie Brown Chaparral Theatre Department Music and Lyrics by Andrew Lippa By David Stockdell,

Period 2

Youre

Good

Man,

Charlie

Brown

is

play

held

at

Chaparral High School that I attended on September 23rd, 2011 that summarizes a year in Charlie Browns life. Charlie Brown is a fictional character who is known for his good character, but also suffers from bad luck, clumsiness, and uncertainty. He

makes a few mistakes, learns a few lessons, and strengthens and weakens friendships. His thought process and actions are not completely meant to be serious, but mostly humorous. The acting for Charlie Brown was very good overall.

Everyone actually looked and acted like they were little kids! Even a few choir kids were involved! I saw Scott Viteri as Shoopy, Aydin Golabi as Shermy, Ariel Scott as Peppermint Patty, and Boston Scott played Schroeder. The songs werent very

complicated, but they were well executed and made me smile. I would recommend my other friends to see this play for a interesting play that made me laugh and recall some of the songs I used to hear from the Charlie Brown shows on television we watched when I was a kid. Im looking forward to seeing the

next play in which my friends perform.
