Minimal Polynomials
GF(qm) The minimal polynomial M(x) is the lowest degree monic polynomial p(x) over GF(q) with p()=0 For each the minimal polynomial M(x) is unique. (There will be only one polynomial qualify to be called as the Minimal polynomial.)
