Journal #6 The purpose of my concept is to sow what life was like during the Great Recession and to also

show that theres always hope. Never give up. I feel that both of those purposes will be things that I can easily get across to the viewer and that they will understand and learn from. 1) The Pursuit of Happiness a. This will be the main theme of my movie because its a man who loses everything and has to work hard to get back on track to living the American Dream once again. Rags to Riches b. I need to find a way to emphasize on the part where he loses everything and show what he has to overcome. 2) Religion- Im not huge on it but many people are so I might want to include this. Economy Collapse- This is the reasoning 3) My event was bad however there was no way of stopping it. 4) Mine is an actual example of how the Great Recession affected people rather than just the generic historical event being in the background. 5) Im going to show how both money and poverty can affect someone. 6) My plot and events will influence the perspective for an example economy is good, my guy is rich. Economy is bad my guy is poor. 7) I will show everything with my character. This will show my unique perspective. 8) I want my readers to understand the before, during, and after of the Great Recession. I want them to see what it was like for most people and have an overall great understanding of the recession.
