Its main export is oil, which accounts for over ninety percent of the government budget. The recent rise in oil prices has increased the government revenue. The government has a high level of corruption which caused a youth movement for political reform in 2011. The country has a poor business climate that lacks diversity. The government plans to diversify its economy through investment and also plans to increase exports of crude, its main export. The countrys main imports are food, construction material, clothing, and vehicle and parts. The countrys main exports are oil and refined products, and fertilizers. The government has a positive net export.
