This is the general summary of my career plan that I have submitted. For the coming year, I plan to get my HND-Mech. Engg completed by around 24 June, 2012. After that I plan to undergo 6 months on board training, which will impart me the practical skills required and enough sea time to apply for the OOW-4th class by around 1st week of May in the year 2013. After that I will prepare for the OOW exam, probably here in Glasgow in the October month of the same year. It will include a formal teaching schedule and learning skills. After finishing my 4th class exam, I will undergo 18 months of sailing which I plan to cover by the end of year 2015. It will help me to grow my seaman skill and improve my abilities onboard and will provide all the experience I need to fill out for my next exams. After that I will again come to Glasgow in the year 2016 to prepare for my OOW3rd class course by the February month. That exam too would be an formal learning. In this way I have planned my career growth for the next 5 years.
