    In Religion this week . . .
    We read the Apostles Creed We studied the 3 parts of the Apostles Creed We enjoyed Chapel with our PK3, 4, 1st and 2nd grade friends We talked about the Triune God - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit We read 3 in 1 We enjoyed singing hymns and praise songs

    In Math . . .

    We practiced measuring in inches We practiced writing subtraction sentences We practiced counting coins We enjoyed playing math games with our friends

    In Language this week . . .

    We practiced reading, writing and recognizing word families We practiced listening for the short i and a sounds in words We reviewed the alphabet arc with Mrs. Mitchell We took the STAR reading test on the computer (I will share the results with you) We practiced writing sentences and xing sentences that were incorrect

    Coming up . . .

    HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

    Water day next week (I will e-mail you by Monday) Picnic with our Chapel buddies - 5.16 Hawaii Days with 1st grade - check out the brochure! :) 5.22 & 23 Kindergarten Graduation & Closing Chapel @ 9:00 - 5.25

    The students may wear fancy clothes :) We will share a few songs at the closing service Families are welcome to join us for the Closing Service and stay for the picnic!
