London is the capital of England. Its the most beautiful place in this country. Its one of the world's leading business, financial, and cultural centres, and has influence on politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion and art. Therere many monuments: Palace of Westminster, Westminster Abbey and St. Margaret's Church, the Tower of London, the Royal Botanic Gardens. As a result, the city has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world.

London Eye - Millennium Wheel


Its the tallest (135 metres) Ferris wheel in Europe and the most popular attraction in UK. At the time it was the tallest Ferris wheel in the world. London Eye is located at the western end of Jubilee Gardens, on the South Bank from the River Thames in London, England, between Westminster Bridge and Hungerford Bridge.

The Houses of Parliament


Its the place where laws governing British life are debated and enacted. The building is in the Gothic style. The Queen rides in her State coach to Westminster to open each new session of Parliament, usually every second week in November. The Houses of Parliament contain the bell called Big Ben that strikes the quarter.

Tower Bridge
Tower Bridge is one of the most famous London attractions for many years. Tower Bridge with its twin drawbridges, or bascules, each weighing about 1000 tons has been raised more than half a million times since it was built.

Its close to the Tower of London. Its very old and beautiful tower in England.

Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace is the official London residence of the British monarch located in the City of Westminster. It has been a rallying point for the British people at times of national rejoicing and crisis. Today, Buckingham Palace is not only Queen's weekday home but workplace for Duke of York. There are also offices of the Royal Household in the Palace and workplace for 450 people.

Trafalgar Square
Trafalgar Square is the Square in London. The orginal name used to be "King William the Fourth's Square", but George Ledwell Taylor suggested the name "Trafalgar Square". The Square is a popular place. It is also famous for Nelson's Column and other statues and sculptures.

National Gallery
National Gallery is located on the north side of Trafalgar Square. It was founded in 1834 and it is one of the greatest art collections in the world.

You can watch many masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci.

Tate Gallery of Modern Art


The building was transformed from an old power station by Swiss architect at a cost of 130 million pounds. This gallery of modern art is becoming very popular. It features international Modern Art organized in four themed groups - "Landscape", "Still Life", "The Nude" and "History".

The Tower of London


Its a place of imprisonment and execution and it has been used as the Royal Residence . You can see the Royal Insignia there. Its located within London Borough of Tower Hamlets and is separated from the eastern edge of the City of London.
