London is the capital city of Great Britain and the United Kingdom.

The UK is an island,
which consist of England, Scotland, Wales and the whole area of Ireland.
Great Britain is located in Western- Europe, and surrounded by the Atlantic- ocean.
The type of the government is constitutional monarchy. It means the queen, who is the
monarch, can govern the country with the support of the Parliament. The Parliament consist
of 2 houses, the House of Common(„közösség háza”- nép) and the House of Lord („urak
háza”- arisztokraták). The queen is Queen Elizabeth II ( Queen Elizabeth the second), she
reign the whole country. The prime minister is the head of the government of UK. Currently,
the prime minister is Boris Johnson.
In London there are lots of wonderful landsmarks and sights:
 In the Talfalgar square, which is the main square in London, there is the lion stones,
the fountains and the Nelson’s Column
 The National Gallery
 The red double- decker bus is a typical attraction in London. If somebody want to
explore the all sights of London, the best choice is if get on a double- decker bus and
enjoy the tour.
 The Buckingen Palace, which is one of the most popular attraction in London.

 In Greenwich you can visit the covered market and the National Maritime Museum.
