--></style> 2008 Schild Estate Barossa Shiraz This wine has just been named #7 in Wine Spectators annual list of top 100 for 2010. The judges taste thousands of wines worldwide and narrow it down to the select few. Usually top 10 wines are VERY expensive.......but luckily for the consumer this time there is an exception! This wine is amazing for the price $188.....get some before it's all gone !! Don't complain later if you didn't get enough....and I'm keeping my stash so don't ask if you can lend any :) <style type="text/css">

Do not be put off by the price. Normally some people think they have to spend $200 to get a "decent red" in HK that you can take to your friends house. This red will have your friends asking how much it costs....you can just quietly sit back with a sly grin. These ratings are wholely based on my personal opinion and are in no way meant to be taken seriously like professional raters. I have skewed my ratings as well with taking price into consideration. Hence a good wine that is $150 may outscore a very good $500 wine if I feel the lower priced wine is better dollar value. Here are a couple of great value wines I've tried recently: 2008 Schild Estate Shiraz MWM=99+ .This wine is reviewed above...AMAZING value for money! 2008 Olivers HJ Reserve Shiraz...Grange at a tenth of the price MWM=99 .This wine is made from the same grapes as Penfolds Grange...but you don't have to pay throught the nose for it. 2006 Pisa Moorings Central Otago Pinot Noir MWM = 98 Points.
